Last Train Out is a devotional shrine to the Rust Belt, the former industrial heart of the US. The shrine, made from quartersawn oak, encases relics from the region – glass, coal, steel, aluminum, iron and rubber – and a Simplex “Tombstone” time clock.
Visitors are invited to contribute objects, letters, etc. in memory of the region and its people. Memorial cards can be punched in the time clock as a memento of your visit.
